BRUNELLO DI MONTALCINO
RISERVA 2002
Col d’Orcia is the only winery who has produced a “Brunello di Montalcino Riserva 2002”, a vintage which has been particularly criticized by the specialized press. The rigorous selection of each grape of the vineyard Poggio al Vento led to obtain a wine which represents a winning challenge. The result is an intriguing product provided with personality and elegance, able to interpret with coherence and originality the stylistic variations of a very difficult vintage.

NEARCO
Sant' Antimo D.O.C.
Released
on 2003
The
Mediterranean climate, the Montalcino terroir, the
nobility of Merlot, Cabernet and Syrah, the knowledge and the
passion of those who have always been taking care of vineyards
and producing wine ever since. This is how Nearco was born.
On the gentle southern hillsides of Montalcino, embedded in the
middle of austere Brunello vineyards, one can find the plots dedicated
to the great international varieties that have made Tuscan reds
so famous. Real cru, where Merlot, Cabernet and Syrah
have found ideal growing conditions to express their celebrated
class at its best.
Nearco is vinified with these grapes, assembled with knowledge
and aged for eighteen months in noble oak barrels: a new wine
of great impact and structure, where the softness of the Merlot
is perfectly combined with the strength of the Cabernet and the
spicy fruit of the Syrah.
